About Radio FM 90s

Critics play a big role in suggesting the films you should watch every week. But the problem is, there are too many critics and each one of them give different reviews. Some praise a film and other curse it. We help you to choose the right critic and suggest the rating that will best suit you. Because you want to read only the review that interests you and not worry about the rest.

We believe the whole critical and audience reaction can be predicted by using a sample set of reviewers. While the rest of Review aggregations use too many different reviewers and publications, it will result in varying behavior of the sample. Also no user is interested to read 100 reviewers to come to a conclusion.

We use a small set of sample with less than 12 critics to mock a sample population. As it isn't good idea to refer aggregates for films which appeals only to specific type of audience, we have trust scores to find how much critics differ from each other for every film. You can view Top films of the year rankings which are calculated by aggregated critic reviews for films.

Also it doesn't seem fair to give a number to a film and stating that as the rating for the film as a fact instead of their opinion. After seeing a film, you cannot have a number pop up on a mind to explain your experience. We are not robots or computers. Humans get emotions and so we feel it is better to show their emotions in the form of emoticons rather than floating point number. For example what is a rating of 2.25? How did they make such a calculation of 0.25 ?

Some critics just include frequently used labels, phrases and comparisons in their review to curse a film. Even worse, some publications websites use people with a good vocabulary in English, rather than someone who has good knowledge and taste in films. As a result you end up watching a film you hate or you miss a film on theater due to poor critical review.

We respect every film, as we understand that it may not impress you but could be appealing to others. People's taste differ, and so does the taste of critics. We are working on creating a platform that matches your taste with that of a critic.
