Eggs, 2-1/2", two

White cardstock, 8-1/2" x 11"
White tissue paper, two large sheets
Decorative crystal branch, 12"-16" long
White glitter snowflakes, 2", two
Crystal glitter, 5 oz.

Tools
Serrated knife
Candle stub or paraffin
Pencil
Ruler
Wooden toothpicks
Disposable sponge paintbrush
Disposable palette
Water basin
Paper towels
Scissors
Pearl-head pins: four small; two large
Low-temp glue gun and glue sticks
Laminating medium

Instructions
1. Wax serrated knife with candle stub or paraffin. Slice
one-third from 5" foam ball. Cut thin slice from bottom of
each small foam ball. (Save slices for future use; foam pieces
make great filler material for containers.)

2. Glue and insert toothpick into flat side of each small foam
ball head; glue and insert opposite pick end into wide end of foam egg
body on an angle. Apply line of glue between head and body; let dry.

3. Tear tissue paper into smaller pieces. Squeeze generous
amount of laminating medium onto palette. Brush laminating
medium onto tissue, then press to foam, completely covering
each bird and large ball. Brush final coat of medium over each
shape and sprinkle with glitter; let dry.

4. Cut patterns as indicated. Brush one side of each piece
with laminating medium; sprinkle with glitter and let dry.
Repeat for opposite side of each piece; let dry.

5. Cut small vertical slit in tail end of each bird. Glue
straight ends of two tail pieces into each slit. Glue wings to
sides of birds. Fold beaks and glue to heads; insert small
pearl-head pins for eyes.

6. Glue and insert branch into ball base. Refer to photo to
glue birds to branch. Glue snowflakes to ball base; insert
large pearl-head pins in centers.
